These pages are an attempt to take the viewer closer to the monuments and
thereby become able to place them in context to their surroundings. It may
cause some alarm or burst a few bubbles of previously held impressions of
the place. I was shocked how casually the tourists were allowed to wander
among these treasured monuments.
Note how the front of one of the pyramids
was blasted away in the past, leaving a gaping hole! That was due to one
Caliph Al Mamoun in 820CE. He found nothing inside!
The current way in is at the base where you see the tourists climbing up wooden
steps to get inside, shown in one of the photos at the bottom of the page.
There are few photographs which are taken that allows one to
see just how close the tourist can approach the beautiful pyramids. In
reality it can be a seething mass of humanity, pouring forth from
coaches and taxis's, or appearing on the backs of camels, part of the
tourist's attraction to Cairo.
The size of the pyramids cannot be described adequately - they
really do have to be seen to be appreciated fully.
It is obvious that there is a genuine mystery as to how such large blocks of stone
cold be placed
one on top of the other like they are. There is no existing technique in the
world that could do the job in the way that so-called 'experts' state!
There are only two cranes in the world capable of lifting some of the
massive blocks into place, let alone fit them so close together that a
knife blade could not be forced between them - and without damaging them in the process!
This picture shows the type of precision building that was used around
that time. The pictures actually relate to the Valley Temple close by -
but the resulting workmanship is the same.
The blocks shown are approximately 3ft by 4.5ft.
It is obvious that the claim that these stones were worked using copper chisels and stones as hammers
is just not a sensible answer in my reckoning. It is unfortunate that
'experts' rarely state that they just 'don't know' or 'We have no idea!'.
They feel that they lose credibility and status if they state such! They always have the answer!
There is a local definition of an 'expert' - someone who lives more than
50 miles away!
The most amazing aspect of the ancient Egyptian building was the fact that
they did not let corners or angles worry they. Note that the extremely large
block has been 'turned' around the corner! The next block abutting it is
not forced to meet it at the junction of the corner. This appears to suggest that
there was a technique for cutting the stone blocks that allowed them to be
treated like blocks of cheese! These blocks weight tons, yet they are shaped
as though they were as easy to shape as one would cut through butter.
The same can be seen throughout Egypt in the old tombs and temples, but the
closer one gets to the end of the dynastic era so the workmanship lessens.
This implies that somewhere along the line the secrets of working the stone was lost!
There are many questions which, even with today's knowledge, cannot be answered
to any degree of genuine satisfaction.
In the following photos please note the weathering around the Sphinx pictures. Also
see the remedial works going on. The weathering aspect is currently an issue of contention and many
experts are in hot disagreement with one another! If the weathering is the result
of rainfall, then the area must have been a genuinely "green and pleasant land" in the distant past!
Maybe the Garden of Eden legend isn't so far adrift after all!
Let us to indulge in a fantasy. We have to imagine the Great Pyramid
being built of motor cars instead of stone blocks. The area of the first
ground level layer would be the same in area as that of six soccer football pitches!
To carry out the task in the supposed allotted time the cars would have to
be driven into position - dragging them would take too long and used
too much manpower. The whole process would have used over TWO AND A HALF MILLION cars.
Now there is indeed food for thought!
It has been stated that the building of the pyramids could only take
place when the Nile flooded, 'the unindation' as it was called, which lasted for
2 months of every year. The other ten months the population had to be
fully employed tilling the fields as the flood receded.
A lot of building work to be done in just two months of every year!
Not really a plausable explanation is it - but its what the scholars want
us to believe.
There is no sign of any funeral texts, furniture, writings whatever in the pyramids. They
never were tombs - they were something entirely different! I suggest a read of

The large versions of the pictures are around 12k - 17k .jpg files.
The last picture is a much larger version of the immediately adjacent one - but its 43.1k
in size! This is to show you more detail. I hope you have a fast server
and attempt to download it! I'm sure it will be worth your while.
